
We’re thrilled to unveil our latest project at Computex 2025 — a 1000 FPS gaming PC built to push the boundaries of performance and cooling. Showcased at the G.SKILL booth, this project is the result of a powerful collaboration between ElmorLabs, G.SKILL, ASUS ROG, LIAN LI, Thermal Grizzly, and WATERCOOL.
The Mission: 1000 FPS
Achieving 1000 frames per second in modern gaming titles isn’t just a benchmark — it’s a statement. This build is a showcase of what’s possible when the best minds and hardware in the industry come together with a singular goal: extreme performance.
The Brains Behind the Beast
Powered by the cutting-edge AMD Ryzen 7 9950X3D processor and the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E APEX motherboard—expertly tuned by ElmorLabs—this system is engineered for peak performance. The CPU has been delidded and paired with Thermal Grizzly’s AMD Mycro Direct-Die Pro water block, enabling an impressive overclock of up to 5.7 GHz across all cores.
Thermal Grizzly also keeps the ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 cool with their latest DeltaMate ROG Astral RTX 5090 water block. Complementing the setup is G.SKILL’s ultra-fast Trident Z5 DDR5-6000 CL28 2×32 GB memory, overclocked to DDR5-6400 CL26 at 1.55V for ultra-low latency and maximum bandwidth.
All components are housed in the stunning limited edition LIAN LI O11D EVO RGB Automobili Lamborghini Edition case, powered by a LIAN LI EDGE GOLD 1200W PSU and cooled with LIAN LI UNI FAN SL-INF Wireless fans for optimal airflow and aesthetics.
Thermal management is handled by the formidable WATERCOOL MO-RA 400 radiator, more than capable of dissipating the heat from this high-performance build. With the ElmorLabs PMD2 monitoring power draw, the system was measured consuming over 800W during casual gaming—underscoring the effectiveness of the advanced cooling solutions employed.
To monitor and visualize system performance in real time, CapFrameX proved invaluable. Its detailed OSD (On-Screen Display) allowed us to track key metrics such as frame times, CPU/GPU utilization, temperatures, and power draw with precision. This level of insight made it easy to fine-tune the system and validate the effectiveness of the cooling and overclocking configurations.
