Hello, I ordered an EVC2SX and once I get it I'll use it for my 3090 Tuf gaming. I'm new to this so if I'm setting up a voltage offset, is it staying applied even if I unplug the EVC2SX or do I need to always leave the EVC2SX plugged?

The settings will stick with or without the EVC2 connected until the card is power cycled.

That's what I though ! Thanks for the reply =). I'll try to post the result, voltage have been my issue to push my 3090 so let's see how it goes.

I have a 3090 Tuf and I'm using the EVC2S.  Currently does changing the OCP percentage actually do anything and why is the "per phase ocp" listed in voltages(if I raise it I lose stability but the car draws the same power)?  My card is shunt modded and I max out at 76 percent of power limit, then hit OCP, I'm assuming it's a vrm OCP limitation, not a board power limit.  Any help you could provide would be much appreciated.

Hello Adam, sorry I missed your message. OCP is over-current protection, if your card is not currently shutting down because it's drawing to much current you won't see any difference by changing this setting. The per-phase OCP is listed in voltages because the per-phase current is sensed through a voltage derived from the VRM output filter and is not converted to current in the controller register.

What happens when you say you hit OCP? What are the symptoms?

Now I have to apologize, I didn't see your reply until today:)  When I say it hits ocp, the card will crash.  No matter what I do I can't get more than 76 percent of the power limit out of the card, with the mods that puts me at around 510-515 watts.  I've checked the outputs from all 3 sources for power(both 8 pins and PCIE) and they all read correct and are way below the power limit.  I'm also on chilled water and the card is never above 26c under full load.

Maybe you can tell me if I'm going crazy, but I've verified that voltage control works perfectly, but no matter how much extra voltage I throw at the gpu it won't draw any more total power and it of course crashes.  The only way I can see extra voltage not causing extra power draw is if there's some ocp that's being tripped.  Hopefully that makes sense?

is it somehow possible to save the settings forever? Maybe with the evc always connected, that automatically applies more voltage for the card? i have a tuf rtx 3080 ti which cannot keep the base clocks and it randomly produces blackscreens. It only shows picture when the bios switch is on quiet mode. On performance mode, the card doesn't even show a picture. I wish i could mod the bios for lower base clocks or increasing the voltage, but its locked..
