EVC2 solder points for 4090 Gaming OC
Quote from GotSomeMilk on 2023-09-04, 00:23Hi,
I finally got my EVC2. I took some pictures of the PCB to find the solder points. I don't see any I2C header points on the board. So only solution is to solder directly to the controller (I guess). GPU voltage is managed by uP9512U controller. According to the datasheet for that IC, Pin 34 is SDA, Pin 35 is SCL.
For the ground I can basically chose whatever ground point I can find no? Basically whatever point which has next to zero resistance once measured versus the screw holes ?
I just want to be sure about this before I blow up a 1900 euros GPU. Cooling will taken care of by huge Mora-3 rad 🙂
Thx for any help

Were these the correct solder points for you ?

Honestly, I don't think it's worth it. I pushed nearly 1.25v and the GPU simply doesn't scale. After 1.15v it's already over. Only power consumption will keep increasing.
