How to log Data with PMD USB

I previously used the normal PMD with EVC2S extension to log and evaluate the power consumption of processors externally on a laptop. Unfortunately, the device has now broken, so I have now bought the PMD USB. I have already been able to start the new software and I can already see the values. But how do I log, for example, just the CPU power over a certain period of time and display this data? I have tested "Write to File", but the text file then only shows me a single watt value. What does this value actually represent? I am a bit confused. The only thing I want is to log the CPU power consumption over a longer period of time as precisely as possible. How does that work?
