I do have a hybrid version of the old software for testing that works with MP2888 controllers, I can send that for testing if necessary. But I do plan to have a version of the new software with support for it within a few days.

It should be possible to control them, depends on which controller is being used. I'll look into it. The software is still under development, here's what it looks like for SPI flash read/write.

okay, I sure hope that pans out as that's one of the main reasons I bought it.

Also, where do I download the software???

It's still being finalized, not ready for public testing yet. I need a few more days.

I received my EVC2 yesterday, so eagerly awaiting the release of the companion software also. 😀

Would you consider making the software, or portions of the software, open-source? I'd love to contribute code to the project.

Also, could adding support for various i2c devices be made modular? Meaning anyone can add support for a device.

Would it be possible to control an old Volterra VT1165M chip with evc2 ? It has SMBus.

Currently no I2C device write support
The software is modular and you can manually add your own SPI and I2C devices in the XML documents
Haven't managed to get my hands on the IR3595A register map yet, will keep looking
Should be no problem to add support for VT1165M, will try to include it in the next update

Thx Elmor. I do have a couple cards with those. Would be really helpful.

Johnksss i guess iam missing something but i do wonder why you dont use a rpi on classified/kingpin cards? should be able to control and monitor voltages over the evbot port.

Elmor could you also include support for the uP6208 it has i²c.

Do have a couple dead Asus Matrix Platinum Hd 5870 which i want to build some epower boards with.

Would mean less hardmods 😉
